Staff Application
We are looking for two content writers, who will cover information on various Zelda titles.
Zelda Domain is looking for two dedicated Zelda fans who want their voice heard in the Zelda community! Applicants should be hard workers who can create excellent content consistently within a small and/or structured timeframe. Potential staff should:
- Write well.
- Edit their own work.
- Be familiar with an FTP environment.
- Be able to record video of game play.*
- Be able to encode and upload video OR burn original video to disk and post.*

In addition, successful applicants will be required to provide certain personal details. This information will be displayed on their staff page. Its purpose is to allow viewers get to know the site’s staff. These include:
- Full name. (First given name and surname.)
- Preferred screen name.
- Contact e-mail and IM details. (MSN, AIM, etc.)
- Where you live. (General location, for example "Texas, USA".)
- Your birthday.
- Some information about yourself. (Favourite food, hobbies, future dreams or goals, things like that.)
- A short opinion on each Zelda title you have played.
In order to apply, you will need to contact us. In your e-mail, introduce yourself and tell us a bit about yourself and why you want to apply as a writer. You can also use this opportunity to ask any questions you might have, as well as request any more details. The topic of the e-mail should be “Writer Application”. If we are impressed by how you present yourself and your confidence in your abilities, we will then ask you to provide a sample of your work. This can be anything, even a completely fabricated piece written exclusively for the application; however, make it something you are proud of.
If, after reviewing your sample, we wish to hire you, we will notify you of the fact and brief you on the work you will be doing. If we decide you are not fit as a staff member, we will attempt to illustrate to you why, as well as suggest ways you can improve – after which you will be welcome to reapply.
Please note that, because we are striving to make Absolute Zelda the best it can be, we will only accept the best writers. Good luck.
